The Story of Jefferson Woodworking, LLC

Founded in 1981 by Mark Jefferson, Jefferson Woodworking, LLC is built on a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication. Mark’s passion for woodworking began under the influence of his architect father and was further refined through hands-on experience in general construction and a five-year apprenticeship with master woodworker Robert Fox.
What started as a one-man operation in a 450 sq. ft. shop has grown into a thriving business with a 4,500 sq. ft. facility and a skilled team of long-term employees. Specializing in custom cabinetry, woodworking, and structural projects, the company blends modern machinery with traditional techniques to ensure top-tier quality.
Licensed as Certified General Contractors, Jefferson Woodworking has completed projects across Florida, New York City, the Bahamas, and beyond. With 90% of the work on our projects completed in-house, the remaining 10%—focused on installation—minimizes time on-site, making our projects more efficient, no matter wherever they’re located.

About Our Services

We design, fabricate, finish, and install all of our projects in-house.
Our process begins with design and drafting using 3D modeling software to create initial visualizations, allowing for edits and refinements. These are then finalized and presented in construction document format for approvals and fabrication.

Additionally, we have extensive experience in packing, crating, and shipping projects to any destination, whether via our own vehicles, commercial trucking, or by boat.
